Cristian has spent 20 years working in some of the world's most critically acclaimed restaurants from Paris, Monte Carlo and New York to St Tropez and London. Cristian, who hails from Alba in the northwestern Piedmont region of Italy and the truffle capital of the world, is known for his innovation, attention to detail and dedication to both quality and technique. A dynamic and passionate professional, he has become renowned both for his avant garde creativity, unique flavours and his unwavering commitment to sourcing superior quality produce of provenance.
Cristian, who now resides in North Berwick, East Lothian with his two children, demonstrates an enviable culinary CV as chef, restaurateur and teacher that saw him bestowed the highly coveted Michelin star standard while chef proprietor of La Vie Del Sale in San Remo in 2013. His clients have ranged from global CEOs, elite athletes, world leaders and TV personalities to cooking for the Queen in 2018 and Prince Charles and his delegates at COP26 in 2021.
